I’m Shuva Sharma

Today the whole world is forced to endure 1.5 degrees higher temperatures due to carbon emissions and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which has caused a complete imbalance in the atmosphere with heavy rainfall, snowfall, hailstorms, landslides and snowfall in the mountains. People’s lives have been affected due to rapid melting and rain instead of snow in the high mountainous areas.

The Glasgow Conference in Scotland recently passed a commitment letter on how to tackle climate change and limit 1.5 degrees Celsius, with the support of about 115 nations, most recently the United States and China. A separate commitment was made in this regard.

I have been a normal person and have been thinking about how to control climate change and rising temperatures for about 3 years now. During the discussion, my brother Shishir Hamal and his office colleague Sarala Madam, who was very fluent in English, gave me a heartfelt thought and joined the campaign.

I plan to travel around 150 countries around the world and plant about 500 trees, which I believe will contribute somewhat to global warming.

In all this work, I am in dire need of the support and cooperation of people from all walks of life, organizations, government and the international community. Bicycle has been sponsored, I am indebted to some of my friends and Hon’ble Member of Bagmati Pradesh, Mr. Narottam Vaidya.
